- Teaching children is much more than repetition. It has to involve creativity and the ability to adapt to the individual needs and interests of my little students. Sometimes they are happy and willing to learn, but sometimes they are sleepy, hungry, or angry. I've realized that I cannot blindly follow the program. Sometimes my little students want to talk to me, or show me their toys, or teach me something
- Children like diversity of colors and materials along with the fact that repetition works the most in memorizing words. The rule was the fact that their attention cannot be held longer than 25 minutes because they tend to explore the world and forcing them to learn longer can cause stress. We all know that stress can prevent learning a foreign language.
- Ideally, children should start learning with a tutor in their native language when it comes to teaching them a new language. This way, especially for beginner students, it helps them progress quickly in areas where they are stuck, eliminating the stress factor.
- Children should have at least 2 hours a week to complete a certain level in approximately 6-8 months.
